Cradt
Curator's Read

What does your taste say about you?

Cradt values vinyl collections and tracks what the market does to them. This is its party trick: type a few artists you actually listen to and get a Curator's Read, the kind it writes for members every week. Fair warning: it pays attention.

Questions

Good to know.

Straight answers on how we value records, how Cradt works alongside Discogs, and what is free.

01How does Cradt value my records?

Each record is matched to its exact pressing, then valued against real marketplace data: public Discogs listings and recent eBay sales, weighted toward the most recent activity. You get an honest low, median, and high, not a single guessed number.

02I already use Discogs. What does Cradt add?

Plenty, and you keep Discogs too. Connect your account and Cradt imports your collection and your wantlist, then keeps them in sync (it uses Discogs' own sign-in, so we never see your password). On top of that: a daily Cradt Index value on every pressing, a Curator's Read of your taste, shareable shelves, and a phone-first app. Discogs stays your catalog and marketplace; Cradt is the daily read on what it's all worth.

03Do I need a Discogs account?

No. Connecting Discogs is the fastest way to import and keep your collection in sync, but you can also import a CSV (a Discogs export works perfectly), scan barcodes with your phone, or add records by hand.

04I just inherited a collection and know nothing about vinyl. Can Cradt help?

Yes. Start on the inherited-a-collection path. We use plain language, estimate what you have, and can produce the documentation you need for insurance, sale, or probate.

05Can I install Cradt as an app?

Yes. On your phone, open Cradt in your browser and use the install prompt: on Android tap Install, and on iPhone tap the Share button, then Add to Home Screen. Once installed, Cradt runs full screen and can send push alerts when a wantlist record drops below median. On desktop, look for the install icon in your browser's address bar. Your collection stays in sync across every device.

06Is my collection private?

Your collection, values, and any documents are private to you. Nothing is shared unless you explicitly create a public share link, which you can revoke at any time.

07What is free, and what is paid?

Importing and browsing your collection is free. Pro adds market intelligence and the AI advisor. Vault adds insurance and estate documents, the Theft and Loss package, and your Collection DNA report.

08Can I cancel anytime?

Yes, from your account or the Stripe portal. You keep access through the end of the period you paid for. A monthly plan stops at the next month; an annual plan stops renewing but isn't refunded for the rest of the prepaid year.
